I am looking for a portable scanner to help me go digital. I would like something that can scan A4 and can save to sd / microsd or flash drive. Wifi is optional, but not essential.

I have looked on Google and mostly find Canon lide scanners.

I see Evernote endorses mobile scanners, but they look expensive.

Anyone here have one or know where I can look?

I was considering using camscanner and my phone, I am probably overcomplicating things by wanting a dedicated scanner.

Portable scanners - the type that you can carry in a brief-case - are a hassle to use and are relatively expensive.

A standard flatbed scanner is the most convenient and is also (normally) the cheapest,

Camscanner + Android phone.

But if you want to scan a lot of things, a flatbed with a feeder is still the best.

Considering building a stand and using my phone and cams canner.

Not looking to drop serious money on this

So the scans are uniform, taken at the same distance from the paper and at the same angle.

My only problem is that file sizes with a scanner are much smaller than when using my phone.
