Hey,

I'm experiencing problems with my eyes, I sit in front of the PC at least 8 hours a day. My eyes get extremely sore after about 5 hours.

I have an Acer V233H 23" at the moment. I have decided to invest in a good quality LED LCD screen as I have heard they put less strain on the eyes compared to normal LCD screens.

Can anyone please recommend a good LED screen for me? I'm looking for a 24".

Thanks!

They're a lot lighter on the eyes, for that I can vouch. My laptop is LED backlit, and it's a pleasure to look at its screen. I'd suggest you go see an optometrist though. My eyes did that as well, and he gave me some eyedrops that sorted it out. What happens is, when you stare at a computer screen, you blink less which results in your eyes drying out a bit more than they would normally, which in turn results in burning eyes.
Also, aim to look away into the distance every 10 minutes or so. This trains your eyes muscles, which helps as well.

As for screen recommendations, I only know of the Samsung XL model, which is apparently superb.

Mmm.... Interesting thanks, my eyes don't burn they just get extremely sore, it's difficult to explain it, like a muscle that is overworked.

I will check out the Samsung screens thanks!
