Here are the daytime speeds that you get on these accounts on a 10Mb/s line:

While, if I switch back to the backup one at Afrihost I get this:

Their first line of defence normally is to write this off as an isolated incident, but the reality is that it has been doing this now for literally 2-3 years.

It is more or less acceptable late in the evenings, and brilliant during the holidays, but as soon as everyone gets back to work, it grinds to a halt.

From the results you can clearly see there is nothing wrong with my line and the exchange is not overloaded. All that is left is that either their network cannot handle the load, or they are throttling these accounts into the ground.

I had the same issue with my RA account since they launched uncapped, cancelled it and moved on much better now.
