Howzit,

Sadly searching google for stuff in SA is sometimes pretty tough.

My current kb is in need of replacement. Went hunting and found the dream item. Ajazz ak820. One was being sold by wootware, and I didn't purchase it fast enough. So they are now out of stock.

Did some research on this item, and its actually quite highly regarded in the keyboard world for being a budget device.

Wootware have a purple/white version, but I cannot justify getting it due to the huge colour contrast of my black/red setup.

Wootware also have a Montech keyboard coming beginning of August, but that price is a bit out of budget. Max I want to spend is 1k but I might have to go for this item. Again did some research around it, and also sounds amazing/ looks good for 'budget'

Marvo/ Reddragon/ gamdias all seem to be clicky clicky stuff. Looking for any other recommendations. Maybe there's some finds on dreamtech/ progenix/ takealot or wherever that have a thocky kb?

Side note: looking for 75% size or TKL. Dark colours/ black colours. RGB isnt super important, but doesnt hurt. Not worried about it being wireless. A wired device is absolutely fine.

help?

The Redragon Kumara is my favourite, especially in white, but black is decent too.

My kids have the black and the white one, and both are great. Although the white just looks more bling. It was one of the top rated keyboards on amazon.com too. 39k ratings gave it about a 4.5 / 5 or more. Just note that its a klickety keyboard, so a bit more noisy, however if you have kids its great. You can hear them when theyre not supposed to be playing games during study time.

The Redragon R599 Deimos uses linear mechanicsl switches(OUTEMU Red Switches) and can be found under R1000. Works as both wired and wireless:

I'm hoping to find a kb with function keys. (F1 - F12) Somehow they play an important part of how I operate one. But thanks for the suggestion

Thanks for the suggestion, but really trying to get away from the clickety, and the thocky sounds are just *chefs kiss*

Just contact the guy at Woot if its what you want, he's great. If not talk to them and they'll be able to probably get you what you want.
