I'm currently looking for an MMORPG that fits my gaming style.

1. Free to play would be nice, but I'm willing to pay if I find something that I really like.

2. I don't have time to spend hours farming the same dungeon, in the faint hope that I might get a lucky drop (when it comes to top Tier gear). The last MMORPG I played was Neverwinter Online. The T2 dungeons took more than half an hour each to complete (Castle Never took almost two hours, IIRC), and your chances of getting the gear you're looking for is slim.

3. Neverwinter had a browser based version of the Marketplace, meaning that it is pretty easy to login during lunch or between meetings. I managed to play that market well enough to afford the Top Tier gear, but then they ended binding most of the nicer stuff either on pickup or to the account.

So basically I'm looking for something where either the dungeons are a bit shorter (it is easier to fit in 3 half-hour sessions than one 1-hour session), or where all equipment can be traded ingame. I don't want to swipe my CC for gear, but if I can farm lower level gear, resell that, and buy what I want, I'd be pretty happy. I'm ok to do some farming, but I can't dedicate an afternoon to one dungeon, only to find that nothing dropped that I can use. At least with farming, the time you spent farming delivered part of what you're saving up for.

Any suggestions?

Elder Scrolls Online should be good for you. It never really feels like you're farming or grinding because all the quests are fully voiced and are similar to quests in the offline games with multiple stages and even some limited choice and consequence here or there. Plus most of the best gear you get you get from crafting it yourself, so you don't have to grind for gear ever.

It's buy to play too, so you drop some cash once and you get quite a lot of content. Once you've exhausted it all (I haven't even after two years) you can buy the mini-expansions from their Crown store.
