PCI (not PCI-E)
Just looking for a very basic card to carry around for testing PCs. Without heatsink would be nice. (I like to keep my kit small and light)

A nice 4 or 8MB card :)

PM me if you're in cape town city bowl area and want to unload your old PCI graphics card thats been collecting dust for R100.

Hey Stop Hijacking my Thread! ;)

Dude: Thats PCI-Express. I need plain old PCI.

Lope, I'll check my PCI graphics cards tonight.

I can then ship it for you using Post Office's Counter-to-Counter service which would be like R50. I would actually be glad to get rid of the cards to be honest, so I would be asking anything besides shipping :)
If you're lucky, I still have a Nvidia TNT2 / Sis6326 card somewhere.

Pada: 6326, thats a nice old beast :)
Let me know

Pada: Want to get rid of the TNT2? I need one aswell.

soz for hijack Lope ;)

kayvee: I said, if Lope is lucky, I'd have a TNT2/SIS6326 card for him, but the odds are real slim.

I definitely have a Trident PCI graphics card, but it's possibly just a 1MB card.

I think my brother is actually using a TNT2M64 atm in his PC so that he can run a dual screen setup.

kayvee: as long as I get a basic PCI gfx card u can hijack all you want :)

is the trident 1MB physically small? 1024x768 sould be enough for the testing I need to do.

Lope, I haven't had time yet to look at the graphics cards. The graphics cards are all thinner than 1 slot and none of them have a fan AFAIK.
Unfortunately they are all much bigger than those low profile PCI network cards.

Pada: A gfx card without a heatsink would be awesome :)

They've got a great website.
It says 'website under construction, call chris', with no phone number, lol.
even the 'contact us' page. *shakes head*

I lol'ed. Must be a Freestate thing?? ;)

Oh and I am looking for the TNT2 as an upgrade for my i7 rig....

Eish, bad news.

I only have 1 working S3 Trio64, which is most likely a 1MB graphics card, so you can't even run 1024x768 with it I think.
Here is how the card looks: http://82.114.193.227/vga2/images/stories/palcal/s3/292_expertcolor_dsp3364p_ver.1.2_top_hq.jpg
My copy of BartPE loaded fine with that S3 card, but I was unable to get Parted Magic going with Xorg, however console mode worked just fine.
You can buy the card here for $162 (USD)! ROFLMAO.

Other than that, I just have an AGP GF6800LE 128MB that is not in use.
