Do you use a boom arm?

now I do yes, previously had it on the desk. Its ok for desk use but it kinda stands upright and is not easy to position. With a boom arm you can use your hand to get the best position for it.

Desk stands suck unless it is positioned at your 'vocal' height which is almost never the case. When I work I speak into my mic, but when I game I speak past my mic because I need more visual space. The problem most users have with using a dedicated mic is with positioning it right. A mic arm is the way to go, and the selection runs close as deep as your mic choices.

People who are new to mics expects their voice to be deep and crisp, but that isn't how it works.
