Looking for dedicated bare-metal

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a company that can host bare-metal servers, and am a bit lost with the offerings. It is either super old hardware running on 100Mbit connections or VPS rentals. I'm looking for current gen hardware, preferably at teraco if possible?

Not sure if you had a look at DataKeepers' Dedicated Server offering - seems current-gen hardware, with 1Gbps Port and hosted in Teraco CPT.

Yes, Datakeepers is the only real modern bare metal option in SA at the moment, that is locally owned.

You can get servers in Teraco JNB from Heficed, Psychz, G-Core Labs and a couple others though, but you'd be subjected to some forex risk

Found DataKeepers as well, so thanks for that. They kinda seem to be the only option that is somewhat 'known' :/

Looked at Psychz and G-Core, but Psychz haven't had stock in ZA since late last year, and G-Core's pricing is actually insane. Didn't know about Heficed, and the pricing is reasonable, so thanks for that one.

Looked at Psychz and G-Core, but Psychz haven't had stock in ZA since late last year, and G-Core's pricing is actually insane. Didn't know about Heficed, and the pricing is reasonable, so thanks for that one.

G-core's pricing includes 1gbps transit, and the models they have in local colo are reasonably high spec. Just be cautious when comparing Heficed for example, as they charge a lot for transit.
