Seriously, what is wrong with this section? It seems to bring out all the special children.
You're having a hard time getting epics? The game is oozing them from every orifice?!? Just go do heroics. Buy emblem stuff. Get stuff crafted. Do Wintergrasp and pick up some more there. Pug VoA, Ony, OS, Naxx, perhaps even Ulduar. Do the daily Bg and BG's on weekends. Make an Arena team and fail upwards. Really, it's not hard.

So yeah as Esea mentioned, just run as many HCs as possible to get some nice epics in there and plenty badges to get yourself your T9 or equivalent.

We need a new colour introduced into the game. Bright-freaking-Red. This is for items which drop from 25 man raid bosses only. When you pose in IF/Ogrimaar, whoever inspects you character should have their monitor blur and blink on and off.

Agree! Its really disapointing having so many noobs working arround with similar gear to me just because they can clear a heroic or 100 (this excludes the new instances).
This is the reason i quit 5 months ago . Now having come back , you know what i realised ?
I really dont care anymore if im the weakest , strongest or ****iest looking character on the whole of the server as long as I enjoy the game.
haha. Yes. tbh, stopped really caring about gear awhile ago. I use my badges to buy epic gems and hierlooms. Just enjoy pew-pewing with the guild. My hunter dinged 80 this weekend. gear is so crap, cant do the heroic random. But I did sign him up for ToC 10 man run with the guild. lol. All +/-600 dps
My gear philosophy is now very simple, includes my main(warlock) :
a) Keep hit rating capped.
b) if the item level of a drop is higher than what I have and hit rating doesnt go too low, need.
Bad, bad, bad. I believe ArP is far better than Haste for MM Hunters for example. I sincerely hope you don't take loot away from people who would put that item to better use than you.

Lucky for me i enjoy getting the best (or as close as i can to it) gear. It is my carrot on a stick and probably one of the reasons why i still play.
True about the hunter, but i couldnt really care. My hunter is survival atm., with shocking gear, and I have no idea what im doing, just spamming explosive shot wherever possible
Ofc, I only need on something which is suitable for my class/spec, and if the upgrade is very marginal I see who else rolls. I have withdrawn a roll many times before. I have also had guildees win an item and later trade it to me, when they notice that the upgrade wasnt that good for them.
Anyway when I am raiding with one my alts(i have 5 lvl 80's), i wont take an item if someone's main needs it.

Question 1: Are you in a guild? If the answer is No, find one
Start off by running ToC Normal as much has possible.once you get to level 80. The dungeon has quite a few upgrades if you are covered in questing blues and greens, and is relatively a cakewalk.
Once you have covered every possible upgrade in normal, Run the Heroic version and collect the other half along with valuable emblems of Triumph. Random heroics. I cannot stress that enough. As many as you can fit in per session.
I have managed to gear up a feral druid from questing items to full T9 in one weekend of solid heroic farming. Make sure your group has an enchanter and if you are running with guild mates, have them set their UI to pass on all loot while you disenchant it all. This way you will be ready to enchant it for almost free.
Once you are fully T9, run the new Ice Crown dungeons in normal mode to pick up leftover items like trinkets and rings. Then move on to the Heroic versions. All this should take you about a week, but then you should be well on your way to Raiding ICC 10.

Haste isn't useful for SV hunters either. You might want a little bit of it but stacking is a waste. You get more benefit from having a little ArP to boost your Auto Shots and Aimed Shots.

I've been back 4 days and already I have 6 upgrades ranging from lvl 232 to 251.
Epics are now more like epic-fails...
I value my lvl 60 8 piece combo sets more than my epics. They were harder to get.
