Anyone know any good reliable handyman to fix odd jobs like fixing cupboards, installing cupboards etc around Fourways. I usually paid my handyman about R200 a day, provide meals and on odd weeks give him some food for the weekend.

Yeah, but he lives in potch, can come through for a few days if the job is big.
Revamped my whole house, didn't steal anything.

R200 is seriously cheap - I appreciate people are desperate for work but that borders on explotation for me....

Yeah, but who knows reallt. I paid my gardener R350 for 9-3pm today. He also was provided with breakfast, lunch and a nice drinks in-between.

I guess it’s relative. It’s still above minimum wage. Plus healthyfood for dinner

A decent handyman will charge you at least R200 an hour.

I’m not really looking for specialized handyman. Looking for like a gardener who knows how to replace hinges and replace leaking taps. Small thing. The guy I use mostly cleans and irons. When something break hes fairly good at fixingit. The only problem is that some units also uses him. So sometimes he’s not available.

That's maybe a You Tube kind of thing :)

But seriously, it is so difficult finding a decent handyman these days.

My painter does all the things listed. Would not dream of paying him less than R450 for the day. Must say his work is beyond reproach.

Why settle for something mediocre?
