Anyone around here good with micro soldering?
Need some help getting some very fine wires (30awg - 34awg) hooked up to some incredibly small vias in order to access an eMMC. Those vias must be under 0.3mm in diameter.

I just can't get solid connections to some of them. Apart from the fact that at age 52 these things look even smaller than they are. 🙃
I got the thing working perfectly, but then it stopped working.

I used an extra pair of hands to hold it in lace while doing the soldering looking through an attached magnifying glass.

Or if you really want to go all the way:

Definitely a must but the right soldering rig is important. Very fine tip, fine solder wire, good flux and a fibreglass pencil are all important. Proper prep makes all the diffs. Kynar wire should do fine for conductors. 52 points will take some time to do well.
Almost a needle tip will be good for what the OP is wanting to do though. I use a gas powered iron with exchangeable tips depending on what I am trying to do.

I am really going to look for the setup in the 2nd picture. I use the 1st extra hand rig currently, just got a better magnifying glass than what it came with. I think I bought it at pi-shop back in the day.
