Looking for Karmann Ghia

I'm looking for a Karmann Ghia in relatively good condition (Rust Free and Driveable). The good ones I have seen online either has been sold or are in the restoration process and requires a lot of work to be still completed.



Your help will be appreciated.

It does not have to be fully restored but running, rust free and still have majority of the parts attached if possible, I'm looking at between 40 and 55K.

If you are on Facebook, join Classic Cars for Sale and you might find what you are looking for. What I have found, however, some guys are asking crazy prices for cars that are worth scrap value, so you must be careful.

Classic Car prices are rising rather too rapidly, because people are buying on impulse at the wrong price.

Currently on the Classic cars site there is an OKish Mini that has literally only been cleaned up - non standard colour, non standard rims ( horrible) and he want R 65 000 - same guy is trying to sell a 1.6 Cortina Bakkie, also only cleaned up, for R 75 000.

This guy is an absolute bloody con artist, and when I questioned his price, he got as uptight as a certain member here does about his Opel Monza!!
