Hi guys im looking for an Acer Travelmate 4670 Laptop Charger at a decent price. Dc Rating 19v, 4.74A

Anyone know of a place selling them at good prices?
Pm me pls

Thanks:cool:

how long does it take and is it safe to buy from there? Thanks

LOL @ free shipping from China. Not going to happen. Shipping costs more than the charger even with HK Post.

Sorry, if you buy from Hong Kong then HK Post is cheapest and reliable. Otherwise there is EMS, DHL, TNT, Fedex etc. EMS is usually cheaper but TNT economy express if it is offered is very good and also cheaper than DHL. Fedex is pricey. The problem is that Chinese are notorious scammers so you need to research a company before you buy.

Yes, you do get scammers, but that is why you look at someones rating. Look at the score next to someones name. That will give you an idea of the amount of good ratings received in the last 12 months. Then also look at the feedback %. I have never had any issues on ebay.

Delivery does takes about 2 weeks (and sometimes longer depending on customs)

i've purchased batteries & chargers from Laptop Accessories a few times before (Jhb and Pta... order online / by mail, collect)
http://www.laptopaccessories.co.za/
looks like they stock batts & chargers, and other components for most laptops
i think they have original and 'generic' if I remember correctly, my last purchase was last year.
I always buy the generic, seems to work just as well

if it uses the round connector you can also buy the generic chargers at Matrix Warehouse. around R300.00

oh yes, I forgot about the other 'generic' chargers u get at Comp Corp, Matrix and other pc shops, even HiFi Corp... some have a selection of connectors that come with, and with variable voltage selection, so they work with most lappies... just check the voltage and amp output.
from wot I was told and also experienced, just voltage needs to be correct, but (a little bit) lower amps still OK, battery just takes a bit longer to charge. (my experience... but don't take my word for it :) )
Similar votage chargers seem available freely, but generally the generic chargers only up to about 3.5Amps.

Thanks guys but yeah i think im going to stay local on this one!
