Looking for Lingerie

I might be drifting away from the topic here but isn't a woman supposed to surprise YOU with her new sexy lingerie, instead of you surprising her with new lingerie?

I dunno - maybe it's just because I don't like clothes being bought for me, because there are always size/fit/comfort & style issues...
