Hello,

I have a wayleave to connect 18000 homes in tswaiing municipality, North West. The wayleave is approved for aerial infrastructure.
I am looking for a company to assist with this build, basically funding and construction.

Doubt OP is from an FNO so where else would they have gotten a contract like this?

Wayleaf accompanies tenders, this is only logical. I wouldn't want to march into a forum and go "hey I gotta tender but only want to be the middleman, who's gonna do the work for me". Nope. I would say " hey guys... so I got this wayleaf..."

Across my decade+ at some of the biggest FNO's in the country I'd regularly have guys approaching me in the exact way the OP is doing.

Sometimes we'd entertain them sometimes not depending on our build program.

FYI, as part of standard builds we would routinely tell a contractor to go and apply for a wayleave on their own. Less hassle for us.

This is interesting. So what would be the interest of the wayleaf-holder? Would it be at municipal level, complex level, etc?
