Hi guys,
Currently awaiting fibre in the next 1-3 months and am looking for someone (or business) to come do the networking, having coverage all around the house that I can rely on.
Situated in a complex in Linksfield, JHB. Currently have a router in the last room downstairs with a POE Wireless extender in the opposite last room upstairs.
I have no knowledge on networking hence the request, i've taken to google to find a home networking business but have had no luck.
Thought of getting a quote soon so that i'll know where to tell them to install the CPE.
Vumatel have started digging in the area, we're just awaiting approval from our complex committee.

TIA

It's very easy to do it all yourself. Just by watching youtube videos and buying what you need.

Buy the equipment and do it yourself. Way cheaper and you will get much more satisfaction from it.

Completed an installation on Friday in Waterfall estate. From mounting the brackets on the walls for the 4 TV's to setting up the WiFI all around the house. My client is running on 100Mbps fibre and its a dream. I used Unifi UAP´s and it worked like a charm. HDMI over Ethernet works well for the multiple TV's around the house.

@Thor187 Unsure, maybe <5k? Not sure how much it all costs...
@Lazylion I would but I don't know how i'd run the cables from the router to upstairs on the other side.
@gregmcc Thanks - will look into it.
@Peon Thanks, received your PM and will reply there.

Get these, nice and easy to setup, cheap and you can add onto it if you need to cover more areas

And no cabling

Yip, got this http://www.loot.co.za/product/tp-link-av500-wi-fi-powerline-extender-starter-kit-300/vktk-3203-g450 set up with an additional one, it's been good but not perfect. Often drops connection but it does do its job. Just thinking if it will be fine with fibre.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I told a friend of mine to get it as they installed fibre in his house, he says his often drops connection and when doing a speedtest, he only gets 1/5 of the speed compared to the test from the main modem.
