I am willing to give out a cash reward for anyone out there who will help me catch the thief who stole my sim card and ran my bill up to R7000!I have a sim no. and cell no. and you need to tell me in which area this person is and using my sim card.

Sorry, crystal ball is offline at the moment.

And Rincewind's location is unknown.

Jokes aside, have you contacted your service provider to block your account? If you don't then the charges will still accrue...

And you didn't set a monthly limit on your account? Tut tut.
That's the same as having an unlimited ATM card.

If it was reported immediately then you'll be able to get your account credited. My phone was stolen in Feb, I reported it immediately (withing 10 minutes of being stolen) and they blocked my card, but the thiefs somehow were still able to make calls.

When I got my statement the call charges for the day it was stolen was over R700, I sent MTNSP a copy of my itemised bill and they credited my account.

Ye, location unknown, last I heard .... he does not wish to volunteer for a dangerous job such as this one, he's merely refusing to appear for the sake of appearances, because, as someone is bound to nominate him for the upcoming job eventually, even if he refuses, somehow events will conspire against him and he'll end up going on this job anyway as he attempts to escape. Thus, appearing unknown on the location scope, is his best bet of staying safe.

Ye, jokes aside.

1. Go into an SAPD station.
2. Open a docket. Give your statement. Supply the cell no and the sim no, plus any relevant information.
3. Get a case number.
4. Contact your service provider, give them the case number, explain what your want and let them sort it out.
5. If all else fails, ask the Librarian for directions to Ankh-Morpork.
