Hi Guys,

We are currently in the middle of planning a project. We need something similar to this

But the problem is, this company is based in the US. We would prefer a local supplier.

Do any of you know of someone local that can supply these types of gadgets.

We need basically a board that can connect via USB to a computer, and then control load sensors, motors etc.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

or Communica, IIRC you can do something similar with the Arduino? I stand to be corrected though

The Arduino could work. A mega would be perfect for a whole lot of inputs/outputs. The Uno would be okay for a couple of ins and outs.

THe arduinos are limited to a max of 5V in and out and a max current draw of 25ma per pin i think :/ Although that can be worked around with a few extra components..

RScomponents and a few other places stock Arduinos. Netram being one of them.

Arduino does not do any signal conditioning on inputs

How many do you need?

Thanks for the tips so far. The products from electronics123 looks good so far. Just need to find out if the dll supports c# or vb.net

I design these things for a living... so send me a PM

Sorry I was away working my nuts off...
PM received, and replied. I await your phone call.
