I just bought a Vodafone K4201-Z modem from CNA. It was cheap for a 21mb modem (R299).

Problem is I can't find drivers for it. I've tried 3 laptops, and 2 desktops. One WinXP, one Ubuntu and the rest Win7. No luck

Checked online for drivers, found a firmware file but can't flash it because Windows doesn't see it!

Thinking of just going to Vodacom to exchange it or something because it actually sounds faulty after typing this.

Ignore, just saw that you said vodafone. There should be an install disc with it.

It should have a "usb memory stick" part to it. So in my computer it will have a drive with the software on.

You could have a faulty modem. We use that same model alot at work and have no problem.

You have an alot at work!?

Done all of that...

Weird thing is that the drive was found once while i was messing around and I was able to install the 'lite' dashboard but then from there stuff just went down hill. So I've installed the full version now, drivers are on the modem and seems like drivers/software was written to a folder but Windows doesn't see any valid drivers in the folders....quite painful

Think i'll just go to Voadcom and say wtf
