So quick background, the company I'm working for now is going down due to not getting work, my CEO advised us to look for employment else where.

Current Job Title : Systems Administrator
Time : almost 3 years > april 2014
Area : Currently located in Stellenbosch, I would like to work in or around it, but I'm willing to travel if my salary is in the right spot.

Current agreement with CEO is when the servers are moved to his house (hopefully this week ) I can go, so resignation period is basically instant, can start work first week of DEC.

So yea anything els I need to add ?

PS. this is the second time this has happened first time I took a salary reduction and worked from home. I'm 23 ( almost 24 dec time ) and this was my first job.

If you get an opportunity in Obs/Goodwood -> Cape Town CBD then there is a reliable bus running from Somerset West (by Waterstone) you can catch. Costs R500pm. A lot of guys from Stellies catch the bus.

Mentioning this as there are more opportunities in Cape Town than Stellies / Helderberg (reason why I work in Cape Town). Also the drive is a killer, never mind the expense.

What will you do?

• Installing, configuring and debugging software remotely and locally
• Monitoring system performance and ability to understand discrepancies in log files
• Handling daily processes relating to daily tasks within IT
• Ability to understand users’ needs and assist with problems they are experiencing

Can you apply?

• Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
• Highly competent in the following technologies:
o Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP stack)
o Linux command line (Debian/Ubuntu)
o Networking and Firewall setup (IPTables/PFSense)
o SAMBA
o Active Directory
o Exchange
• Working knowledge of Networking, Windows, Linux OS, Hardware setup and fault finding
• Available for after hour standby work
