Today has been one of the longest days at work that I've ever had.

Monday and Tuesday I cleaned my desk and cupboard. So everything is in it's place. I don't get much work most days. So I browse Mybb and Reddit.

I can't play games or read. So I have to do something on the laptop that looks like I'm focusing. I also need at least 1 hand free to answer the phone.

My question is, what else is there? Is anybody else as bored as I am?

Apply for a job as Minister of Mining !!! :D

Find some work maybe?
Offer to proof read things for people, offer to make templates or presentations for people.
Make useful spreadsheets for things.
Do tutorials on things like Excel, Visual basic and other tools that will improve your future job prospects.

Teaching yourself to create basic databases and do basic coding also helps as it looks great on CV. Even if you applying for jobs where you don't need it.
 
I'm asking myself the same thing, started a new job on monday but don't have server access yet so I'm stuck reading documents and generally just looking busy. Can't play games etc. as we all know the new guy always gets the worst seat near the door visible to everyone.

What I need is a browser that filters everything but text on webpages so it'll look like I'm reading *important stuff* instead of catching up on mybb/news etc. all day long.

Anyone?

I've tried. Usually the buyer and engineer give me work to do but I've been a little sick this week. So I think they're trying not to bother me

Damn... get it back!!

I have 2x 2TB of mp3 files that I need sorted, duplicates deleted and folders created per artist... and tags that need to be repaired if they are bust.

Would keep you busy for a little while! :p
