Hi Guys,

I have someone that's trying to make a break into the project management space, he has done a short PM course but does not have much PM experience. He has management experience working in retail for a number of years but has been unemployed since Feb this year.

He is really willing to make this break into the PM space and is willing to start on a junior level.

Salary is completely negotiable based on the level being very junior.

Any help will really be appreciated. He has a family to support and is now currently unemployed.

Managing people is unfortunately not the same thing as managing projects. I would say that the easiest route to take is to start off as a junior BA as it will provide him with the opportunity to acquire the relevant skills like coordinating resources, collaborating with various stakeholders, interfacing with business and technical resources etc.

Thanks Mike, I couldn't agree more, however he has absolutely no business analysis experience whatsoever and to get into a BA role even as a junior is even harder.

So if anyone knows of any company hiring junior BA's, please let me know.

Thanks
