Hello, wandering if you folks can guide me.

I want to buy myself an iMac with a 5K Retina display. That's my dream....


Now my problem, I do not have that amount of money yet...

Sooo, I would appreciate some guidance on how to acquire that amount of money. ( apart from saving ) because I do that I put money aside each month towards it, however the majority of my money I am putting away into my wealth creating savings portfolio account thing so I can live decently when I retire.


I am a very fast learner (within reason ).
 
1. Sell your mangina for money ( grantza always looking for some action)
2. Become a sperm donor
3. Find a Cougar or a Turkey. Convince her the iMac makes you hard

Try carb (www.carbonite.co.za). I get my XPS's off there. You got to be a bit patient though, then quick when something you want pops up.
XPS 13 - retail R23k (at the time). Paid R3.5k.
XPS 12 Touchscreen - retail R25k. Paid R8k.
2 x XPS 15. Retail R26.5k. Paid R8k and R10k respectively.

If you're in a hurry, then it may not work for you.

Edit : I don't know Apple products at all, so not sure if a wishlist OP or not. Making suggestion anyway.
 
Get a nice Dell 27" display (eg Dell U2713HM), and attach an Intel i5 NUC behind it.

Install 16GB RAM, and a 500GB SSD (mSATA, and keep the 2.5" slot available for later).

I would run W8.1 on it, but if you really want to you can run OSX on it.

Half price ! If you do your shopping properly.

Or get another job.

Didn't we do a Thor wants X amount of money thing like 2 months ago already? The suggestions am remarkably similar too.
