Loot online store

The reason i ask is i ordered and paid for an item on their site on the 27th of December and it nowhere said that they are out of stock but its now almost a moth later i still have not received it, and they keep on pushing delivery date back.If the product was not available they should say soon their site then i could have got it from somewhere els.
Granted there was a few public holidays but i ordered something from Takealot a day later being 28th December and it was delivered to me on the 4th January,so i am not at all impressed with Loot.

Had basically the same issue a year or so back. Got fed up, asked to be refunded/credited and ordered from Takealot.

if I remember correctly, I ordered an item that stated something like 15-20 days delivery time. That means it gets imported. I don't think they update stock availability regularly on import listings - problem right there.

There are some special items that you place an order for and will be sourced by Loot. Kind of like an import item. They don't usually commit to a delivery date though. The last item I purchased like this was a CD. Placed the order and I had all but forgotten about it. When I got a message to say my order was on its way, I was an little puzzled.

Yours doesn't quite fit that profile if the gave you a delivery date. I am quite sure that you will get your item. I am surprised though that they haven't responded to your request for help.
 
What bugs me is i wonder to how many customers this is happening and if so earning interest on money paid by customers and waiting over a month to receive the order?
 
Ordered a few things from Loot recently, their prices were the cheapest but the ordering experience definitely needs some work - I didn't have any huge issues but the one item they had to order in did take a few days extra and seems like they take longer than their competitors in this case. Wootware is really fast even if they have to order stock in, same cannot be said for Loot.
 
Heh, they made a mistake in their newsletter advertising the Samsung MZ-75E2T0BW 2TB for around R1600. I ordered and paid for one and just got an email claiming that they "cannot source the item from supplier". Seems rather convenient, why not admit that they made a mistake with the pricing.
 
I have never had a problem yet with loot, i also use Raru and use the Pargo delivery system

Both have worked for me - no issues
 
I ordered the XFX RX 480 Black Edition from them. After almost a week I see it is no longer in stock and ask them if they are going to get stock and if not to replace it with the ASUS R9 380X Strix. They apologise for not letting me know it was out of stock and put in an order for the Asus. After a few days they say it's no longer in stock and they won't be getting stock either. The weird thing is the status of it had suddenly changed to available, and it was also available from PC Link at the same time.

I then ordered the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz 16GB x2 but I get 3000MHz instead. After contacting them they then get back to me today they'll have it picked up but the description is wrong and the 3200MHz isn't available either. The weird thing is even after correcting it there's still a listing for the 3200MHz. What's going on with Loot's listings? Is this memory available or not? I see it's listed on Raru as well. Should I just go ahead and order it there?

Did Loot say it's not available because they didn't want to honour the price?
