Lost license disc

I seem to have lost my license disc in the last few weeks, no idea how or where. Maybe it flew out the window while open, maybe it fell out while the car was being cleaned. In any case, does anyone know what the procedure might be to get a new one? Do I need to stand in line at my local traffic department and pay the same amount again?

Edit: Currently 10 mins in the call queue to be answered, but of course, no luck there...

Hi! Same happened to me last week, I was lucky that I found it a bit later.

I was at the post office to inquire, they said an affidavit is required stating that you lost the license disc. Thereafter they will be able to do a reprint of the paper, it should be much cheaper but I didn't get information on how much the reprint will be.

yes you must go stand in line again
i think its R50 for a new printout, or at least it use to be

Asume you could just renew license again , will pay for the months from previous renewals to now.
Will move renewal date to this month tho.
