Lost Odyssey - Mixed Reviews.

Thanks, and yip! The game is brilliant. A very mature and satisfying story, rather, the dream sequences and it's impact on the story.

I just completed Disc 1 yesterday and will continue later today.

If there's one game that LO is notalgic of, it's Final Fantasy 8. The sounds, sights, etc.

And, yeah, the difficulty is definitely a notch higher that other RPG games. Being a veteran RPG player, I rarely see the Game Over screen. In fact, the last RPG that I completed, Eternal Sonata, I saw the game over screen only once. This game is different. So far, I've kicked the bucket thrice and now I treat each battle uniquely as you quickly learn that a small mistake may be fatal, especially true in boss battles.

Overall a great game that equally balances the many factors that make it so good.
 
Yes, it reminded me quite a bit of FF8, one of my favourites.
The first multiple boss battle (the worms at Baus) floored me completely, I did not expect that!

Was Eternal Sonata good?
I have been looking for it for ages now.
 
The worm boss downed me as well. I never expected a second one to appear and a full charged one at that.

Eternal Sonata was really good. I doubt the story could match LO, but, it was something different and quite entertaining. If you enjoy RPG's, you'll like Eternal Sonata.

ES and LO are both tough to find. I've ES up for sale as I doubt I want to trade it for anything. Maybe Army of Two...

In LO, in the Tosca Village, there's supposed to be 16 Kelolons. I've found 15 and as far as I can tell the remaining statue is in one of the houses, the one with the pipot, but I can't find it. Have you found it?
