Lost Registration docs

Hi,
Does anybody know the process to get a reprint of registration documents? Can I get them done in Pretoria when my car was originally registered in Cape Town? If I have to do it in Cape Town, can I ask someone to get it on my behalf (with a certified copy of my id)?

You can get them done wherever you want, but it takes a couple of weeks.

You can get it done by someone else, you have to fill the form in and sign it, and they will need a certified copy of your ID too.

They actually provide the documents the same day, you fill in a form, pay them R150 or so and they give it to you. You need an affidavit to state you lost the documents.

Yup, I got mine the same day, and was able to do my licence disc the same day

Took a couple of weeks to get mine. A friendly MyBB member who works there PM'ed me to tell me when to come in and fetch it.
