Hello all

I'm probably the only MTN supporter in Saudi Arabia. I recently switched my operator to Mobily (Etisalat), so that I can at least roam in South Africa.

What's the deal with 3G now? Is it very expensive? Can I use my Nokia6630 from Saudi there?

My guess is that 'Mobily' will charge you much more than R2/MB when you are here. So rather pick up a prepaid starter pack here for under R10 and use that instead.

We have not tested 3G roaming with Etisalat so perhaps the prepaid sim option is the best option for now.
