Louis Helmbold was born in Johannesburg South Africa. After completing his matric, he studied Social Work and Psychology at University of Johannesburg. An offer from Rank Xerox in the early 80’s introduced him to the world of office automation. He formed his first company in 1983 and worked as an entrepreneur until 2001, until he joined HP ProCurve Networking (SA) in 2001.
He obtained numerous industry qualifications such as CNE, MCSE, MCT and HP MASE during his career. Networking Infrastructure quickly replaced office automation as a specialist field and he has been responsible for large network infrastructure design and implementation
Louis is a highly qualified business manager with more than 30 years experience in the IT industry in the management, sales and technical aspects. He understands the supply chain and has worked in all sectors of it.
