Most reviews point to connection dropping on the Buffalo. Pity, looked great.

I've got the Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH and it's NAS capabilities is really awful. I mean, it doesn't even come with NTFS support, and if you flash it with firmware that does support it, you won't get more than like 4MB/s.
The processor in the Buffalo is simply too slow for NAS.

I don't think the ARM926EJ-S processor used in that netbook is going to cut it for your purposes.
