Low volume online payment gateway - does this even exist?

Howzit

Had a look at VCS, MyGate and others. Used them before with clients, but looking to add a payment gateway for another website for CC payments, but it's very low volume in terms of number of monthly transactions, and cost per item. So it doesn't make sense going with VCS, MyGate etc and the monthly cost and other per transaction fees means you land up losing money.

So, anyone know of a low volume payment gateway for credit card payments?

Payfast doesn't have a subscription fee, or minimum monthly transactions, but they do have a cost per transaction.

Would Snapscan perhaps work for you? Once-off sign up fee and 3% per transaction. No other recurring costs.

Zapper and SnapScan may work but not everyone uses the service but most people have a debit or credit card.

Payfast and PayGate. Also SagePay if you don't mind the monthly subscription.

payfast is your best bet

zero monthly fee and about 4% transaction cost.

Sure you might get a lower rate with traditional banks but then you gotta commit to a monthly merchant fee & monthly payment gateway fee.
