Lower homeloan rate?

I got a better rate by applying myself to a few banks, the bond originators were unwilling to go back to the back to get a better rate for me.
 
FNB was outstanding when it came to applying for a home loan.. I find BO's are actually more complicated.. That's just from the experience I had though
FNB is awesome, when i applied late 2010 they gave me a 100% bond at prime minus half. I didn't even ask for it :giggle:
 
We recently also had this experience, FNB first offered us prime and then Nedbank offered us a better deal. We went back to FNB and finally got Prime -1.


This is a no-brainer. As a general rule you should never settle for the first rate from any bank.
 
Applied for a bond with FNB recently, I got prime minus 1,15.
Should I stick with it or try look elsewhere?
