Backed up game could mean just that, a game I backed up while I store my originals in a safe place to prevent damage.

Makes sense - don't want to damage the originals. They're so expensive.

You can also run homebrew stuff if your on a real old version of the dash and jtag your system.

They don't provide a purpose It's meant for "development usage", not to play so-called backups. I do, however, use it to play backup copies of games which are expensive. All I do is buy a new game, leave it in its box and download an ISO, burn it and I have a copy in perfect condition and a backup.

anyway its great to see that I can run my backups on the slim if I owned one. But the new update thats being trailed I think is gonna result in another ban wave.

NB GUYS WHEN THE UPDATE COMES OUT DONT DOWNLOAD IT DAY 1, WAIT ABOUT 3 DAYS AND THAN GOOGLE TO SEE IF ANYONE WAS BANNED.

The new beta update flashes your drive to a new firmware (v0272) to support M$'s new disk format. It's causing havoc and will continue to do so.
