I have not had any issues for the previous 6 months.
When the time gets past midnight, I have watched my usage still being taken off my daytime bundle.

I really felt this when I went over my cap unexpectedly and so bought a 1G+1G add-on bundle.
Waited to 12:30 am that night and then initiated my download and windows update and went to sleep.
Didn't think to check immediately the next morning ... not until I ran out of bundle by 11am again :(

I lodged a complaint/request and received a response with a spreadsheet showing my usage.
Hard to understand what is it showing me, but apparently all the yellow rows (most of them) are daytime usage that extends into night time.

"Yellow is the Sessions that overlapped, so i.e. Session started from day and went into night or started in night and went into day. Blue is Night Only session , Green is Day only session and orange is the Once-Off data purchases.
"

There was no other explanation.
I have no idea if they are trying to tell me that I must bounce my router or something when it gets to midnight ... something to tell the monitoring routines to take that usage off the night surfer bundle, not the daytime one.
How do I close my daytime session and then restart on a night session ?

Anyone else have ideas ?
What do you do in this regard ?

I have not experienced this.

I have a sim in Vodafone router and I don't restart for night data. Night data is supposed to be used automatically based on the time .

Hope it isn't a new rule :(.

I was surprised with Cell C system. You've to wait until 10 past midnight to use their data. With Telkom Mobile it can be the same but never bothered to check cos I have peace of mind with them..
