LTE 2-3 Bars Signal Tower Congested Huawei B315

Sorry to hear of your problem which is a common one. Unfortunately your continued procrastination on this forum WILL NOT resolve your problem :D.
The following advice might have a reasonable chance of resolving this type of problem reoccurring.
1) Get a Service Reference number by sending a email to [email protected] explaining your problem. Calling is a useless black hole.
2) Allow for 7 working days to be resolved, if not resolved compile a properly constructed email to [email protected] wherein the subject states your Service Reference as the first word to your subject.
3) Allow office of the Ceo to resolve within 7 Days.
4) If this matter or your bill cannot be resolved, prepare a letter of demand as required for the Small Claims Court. Have the Sheriff serve the letter of demand to the office the Ceo.

We are reasonably sure that your problem would have been resolved by the Ceo before getting to the Small Court process

Why do you still stay with Vodacom? Just change to Telkom or Rain it will probably be better speeds. Or get a LTE-A router that can do CA between band 3 and 38 and you should be sorted on Vodacom speed wise.

The Huawei 315 CPE Router is capable of 4G - LTE dependant on Firmware version.
4G bands CA: 1(2100Mhz), 2(1900Mhz), 3(1800Mhz), 4(1700/2100Mhz), 5(850Mhz), 7(2600Mhz), 8(900Mhz), 12 (700Mhz), 20(800Mz), 28(700Mhz), 38(2600Mhz), 40(2300Mz)

how do you select the correct LTE band?

thanks

If you using that B315 on vodacom the only band you would be able to use would be band 3. Band 38 tdd is not supported on the the b315 but I stand to be corrected on that will investigate it on my b315.

You can use the toolbox or the huawei .bat tool to change or force certain bands
