Hi,
I have been using a Huawei B315 router for internet at home.
It's been getting rather sluggish at home so I used a B525 I borrowed from my dad for a couple of months, that gave me much better speeds at home.
I don't think there is anything wrong with the B315, just under powered or not full range of spectrum.
I took it to work and had constant high speeds and stable connectivity with it for days on end (our fibre line died for 3 days so It ran the companies internet till resolved).
I want to get myself a new router for home, budget maximum R2K.
I live on a plot so towers are pretty far from my house and Fibre/ADSL/Level7(wisp) are not an option.
I would like something that will be as stable or more stable than the above 2, obviously would not mind a bit of an upgrade as well.
I would also like it to be compatible with RAIN/Telkom and all the rest in case I change my provider in the future.
I don't mind if it's an indoor or outdoor router but doubt there is anything decent available for outdoor at that price range.
Currently have a Vodacom 100GB+100GB package.
