Hi everyone.

I'd like to know: Is it true that you HAVE to have an "approved LTE" device to get Fixed LTE, and why? I'm currently on ADSL and my only option for better internet is Pure LTE(MTN), but I'm kinda annoyed that I can't use the B316 that I have, and instead have to have a router that costs three times as much to get a SIM-only deal.

As I understand it, you only need an approved router when using MTN. As to why, that's up to MTN to explain. You can get very similar products through Axxess/Afrihost on Telkom's network and use any router you like.
