LTE coverage area

Can anyone explain why I am in an LTE coverage area of Telkom but not in an LTE uncapped coverage area. I live in Midrand. Does not make sense. The only thing I can think off is Maybe their base stations are not backhauled by Fibre? But then again Midrand should have fibre.

Yeah I think their uncapped was selected for towers with 2300Mhz only. Now most areas have 1800Mhz LTE but the capacity is limited. The uncapped sim will still work on any Telkom LTE tower so you can always signup with another location. I travelled with my sim all over but signed up in KZN now stay close to Midrand and it works fine.

Yup Limited capacity, I think its 150 users per tower, first 50 pay 599 uncapped,2nd lot 699, 3rd, 799.

It should be the other way around since for the first 50 you should have a nice open tower not congested yet.
