Which LTE modem covers all (Voda|MTN|CellC|Telkom) networks?

Also can someone list which networks use which band/frequency.

AFAIK there is no modem that covers all of the LTE bands.

A Cell C E3276 will cover Cell C, Vodacom, MTN, and an 8ta E3276 for 8ta.

Also can someone list which networks use which band/frequency.
Cell-C LTE Band 1 (2100MHz) FDD
MTN LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) FDD
Vodacom LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) FDD
Telkom LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) TDD

Closest modems are Huawei E3276s-601 which covers all except Cell C and Huawei E3276s-150 which covers all except Telkom.

Huawei B880-73 router covers everything.

There is a version of the E3276 (E3276-601) that does all bands. However besides trying to get it from Huawei, I dont think anyone in SA is selling it.

Afrihost advertised their E3276 as supporting TDD and FDD, but it only supports FDD. Well atleast the one I have does not support TDD.

Do you actually pick up LTE signal though?

There is no LTE coverage even near me. The closest would be Ballito and Durban. So even if I am near those places I still would need a device that works with Cellc LTE cause they chose such a weird frequency to use....

Huawei E3276s-601 modems available here for about R640.

Supports all SA 3G and LTE frequencies, except Cell C LTE.

Thanks guys. Seems stupid the networks splitting so you have to spend extra just to go from one to the other.

Just got my modem today. Now need to get me some LTE sims ;)
So far works nicely on 3G, way better speeds than E1820 & E5331
