Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of a distributor that stocks LTE modems or routers?
I've got a couple of clients wanting to jump on the bandwagon but we can't seem to get hold of the devices.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, I have seen some k5005 and e398 huawei devices on gumtree, bid or buy etc, can anyone advise on the right market value on these LTE modems?

They going for 1500-2000 each

Not really, since you will still need an LTE modem.
So it's not really a 3G router either, more a like a wireless router with Ethernet and USB WAN ports.

Are you referring to a LTE router in which you chuck a sim card into? OR just a 3G router which can handle LTE modems?

I have bought one, Huawei K5005/E398, its basically the same model, paid R1300 from gumtree.

works like a bomb compared to my e367 Huawei Modem, i used to download at about 3 mbps and now its around 16 mbps (Riviera/killarney area), so for me its a big difference.

So you want to pay R4 000 for a router? Not worth it now, in my opinion. Costs will drop to R1 500 soon.

Huawei E398 On Bid or Buy at 1399 + TP Link MR3220 4G Router which works with the E398 = R359 therefore total price of of a router less than R1800.00 works for me
