Does anyone use LTE on an iPad Air2 on the Vodacom network?

I have an iPad retina (2 generations ago) that gives me 4G, but my Air2 only gives 3G.

Vodacom have checked all device settings and back-end sim provisioning and I've even done a simswap(twice)with no luck.
Beginning to seem like a device issue which Apple are disputing and blaming Vodacom.

Feeling very discombobulated right now, so please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Ok.
I put in a Telkom SIM card and got LTE, so the device was fine.

EVENTUALLY, Vodacom resolved the issue and I now have 4G.
BUT, the Telkom LTE was much faster. Even on 3G, Vodacom was slower...

I've been a long time Vodacom LTE user, first on my iPad 4 and now my iPad Air 2. Overall I'm extremely happy with Vodacom LTE. I have had some issues along the way that resolve on their own.

I've had the LTE issue you refer to and used to do a SIM swap to restore LTE service. Nowadays if LTE disappears, I just wait for it to come back. It does happen. I'm not sure why this happens with Vodacom.

Vodacom LTE speeds are generally on par with MTN and Telkom.
