No worries, would want to take the 2 Mbps service, but alas, no coverage. Maybe they launch capped services one day with a bit more speed. I'm using 10G without too much effort, watching a movie or two per month. A 5Mbps service with 50G for around R600 would be nice. Wonder if anybody in Neotel is monitoring these forums?
 
Hi, I am also in the Lonehill area and have phoned Neotel multiple times to see if they could do a test or demo and they flat out refuse.

I am an existing customer on the 5mbps wimax offering and have given up on my account manager and Neotel support staff, any chance anyone here could help me?
 
Speed per Rand on the LTE offering is much cheaper on the higher packages than the wimax offerings and I understand the service is almost the same when it comes to being a user.
 
Hi all,

There is a marked difference between the contention ratios for LTE and WiMax products. LTE is 1:25 and Wimax is in the region of 1:15

Yes the speed maybe better now...but wait till the network gets loaded with more customers...then you will cry.
