A while a go, there were some articles indicating that the Lumia 2520 would be available on Vodacom and CellC early in 2014. Has anybody heard or seen something more concrete on this?

The last month of the first quarter of 2014 is starting in less than a week and nothing happened yet...

I contacted CellC but couldn't really get more than "don't know".
 
Well if you do find out please post an update here. I'd love to know as well.
 
Try VC Menlyn. They stock the covers so I assume they have the phone
 
Looking to hopefully get one of these later in the week from Orange store. Any on here got one? What is your experience with it. Can't wait to get mine. Wish they had the red though!

You'll be the first person as far as I know. Really keen to hear what it is like though
 
I've got one. Black with keyboard cover. Great screen (with ClearBlack), although I'm not a fan of the aspect ratio for work tasks. Thin and light, but the Nokia battery keyboard is clunky and heavy (compared to the Surface touch/type cover). I chose it over a Surface 2 (back in December when I bought it) due to the built-in 3G and better display, otherwise if I were to be looking for one now I would hold out for the next generation of Nokia/Microsoft Windows RT tablet.

How is the app store? I have a Windows Phone and if the app store is just as sparse for the tablets I won't consider it (for a phone it is fine but I want to do all sorts of messing around on my tablets :p )

Sold a Lenovo Windows RT tab to a client, not the best app store TBH - you're better off with either iOS or Android :)
 
The app store is the same as the app store on a Windows 8 PC. Can't comment on the apps as I hardly use any besides Office and what comes preinstalled.
 
Thanks. Was wondering about the keyboard. The reviews I have read has all been generally positive. WRT the store, I dont really mind that. I already got Win8 on my desktop and its got a fairly big collection of apps, but I wont really install much on it. I would use it mostly for my rugby and in doing so use the app that I published a while back.

We got an iPad in the house, but I use that only for browsing the net. My wife uses it for her fb and few other things, but there arent too many apps installed in it either.

Ordered earlier in the week (red). Now waiting on Orange store to deliver. Been changed from 3 days to 9 days, so this is going to be frustrating...

Can't wait though!

I ordered something from them on Monday morning when it said "3 days to ship". Today the tracking info says expected in 1 day so most likely I'll only get my stuff next week :( :mad: :(
 
So I got it a couple of minutes ago. What an absolute frustration in getting it since the order was placed, but the device looks really great!
