Hi,

Please help!!!

I have spend the whole morning reading up on threads on RA but now looking at the different websites I can't see a product where I can just put a lump-sum at one go without the monthly contributions and the SYGNIA one is only 20k lumpsum.

Please may I have links or point me to the right direction. I used to have monthly ones but decided against those and I prefer not to get one with monthly and then ask them to stop the deductions.

I prefer the balanced ones or the passive ones.

Thanks.

Phone/email Sygnia or your preferred provider and ask? (its what I did)

All the companies have minimum contribution amounts. Its a lot more admin work to do lump sums, than monthly debit orders (computer driven). The commission fees are small, so you have to drive the transaction (agents won't touch it with a bargepole).

Work with 10x. Good growth, low fees. Not sure if they do lump-sums only, but I highly doubt you'll get the returns you want with lump sump payments only.

Allan grey also have a R20k lump sum (and you cant add-on).

10x and Sygnia you can do lump sums and a debit order in 1 product.

Stay away from life insurance firms

Well, what's the size of the lump sums you plan to deposit? All providers have minimums.

About 50k. Will try calling as suggested and then split them up to the different guys hope no rule that I cant do this. and next year will start addition on to them. Used to be with Old Mutual so want to try out the other guys. Tx

No rule that you cant split up a lumpsum that you want to invest in RAs with different providers.
