I did my verification a couple of years ago and now I get an email to repeat the process. This smell like a phishing attempt.

Is the following email address really from Luno or from a phishing attempt/scammer:
from: Luno <[email protected]>
mailed-by: em4603.mailer.luno.com
signed-by: mailer.luno.com

But when I receive email from Luno when I log in I get the following:
from: Luno <[email protected]>
mailed-by: sesmailer.luno.com
signed-by: luno.com

Was an error.

Received the same email this morning and another one this evening saying it was a system error.

I never received such an email.
Maybe the second one will still come through.

This is what I got.

The link in the email was also valid and pointed to the luno app. I also uploaded everything about a year ago already and my account was verified. Screenshot_20190930-214052_Outlook.jpegScreenshot_20190930-214240_Outlook.jpeg

What freaked me out is that the email said I should upload my Nigerian documents.

I didn't register as a Nigerian.

I think it said or Nigerian. Luno has presence in Nigeria.
It says Your Nigerian Password or Drivers License.

So it seems they were working with their Nigerian system.

Not very secure if they use the same email database for all countries IMHO.

When I saw that I looked at where the email originated from and it didn't correspond with all the email I get from them in the past, hence the Thread on here.

Thanks for posting the thread. At least others could see the issue wasn't specific to them only.

Have any of you received an email regarding upgrading your app to version 6? I looked at the email and went to the playstore and there was no update available so I didn't bother to update my app. Where in the app can one see what version of Luno are you using?
