Hi guys,

So after having paid 100% send fee from Luno to Binance in Feb, I got some tips from the Luno guys to rather send over the weekend as the sending fees are generally less. It appears to be true as my fee for sending recently turned out to be only about 15% (high, but I can live with it).

The flipside to this is that lower fees relate to longer processing times on the blockchain - sent some USDC from Luno to Binance this morning and it still says processing....about 4 hours now.

Is this a normal occurrence during weekends? Is this unrelated to weekends and somehow there's just huge traffic/congestion currently? I've waited in the past at most 20 minutes to see it allocated to my Binance wallet...
Thanks in advance

Back in 2017 when blockchain was super busy I remember waiting 3 days for btc. Some things like xrp for example shouldn't be more than a few min but if you see it on the block chain I wouldn't worry.just wait

Yea thats the thing..only see it on luno and says pending/processing and when i click on "processing" in luno it goes to "search not found" on etherscan.
Not sure what to make of it...cant believe theres no way to know until its done. Unless it just pends for eternity. Heck knows.

@Lunomoney Do you still process withdrawals over the weekend? Changed some XRP to ZAR and withdrew to my account and even chose to pay the R20 fee for quick withdrawal. But I still haven't seen the cash reflect in my account. Will this not happen this weekend and will only be processed on Monday?

I transferred from binance to luno using xrp (0.25 xrp fee) Then used the exchange in luno to sell to zar and withdrew to my bank account. This was done on a Sunday and the money cleared by 9am Monday.

Something strange I noticed was the fee to withdraw was 0% . Not sure if that was due to it being my first withdrawal.
