Luno Scam SMS

Just received this Scam SMS below.
Did a Truecaller check

I logged into luno for the first time in more than a year, and a mere 2 hours later received one of these.

I assume someone inside is involved.

Have you checked on the haveibeenpwned website if your email address was registered on a hacked site?

I created an account recently.
Then I got a fishing SMS for Luno.
I've had my number for decades, and never received any SMS about Luno until I registered and logged in to the app.

Luno, someone is definitely leaking information from the inside of Luno.
Or you have an ongoing breach of user information from the outside.
There's no doubt about it.

my parents and sister routinely get "Luno" phishing SMS's ... none of them have ever had a Luno account, so there you have three anecdotes of occurrences of non-Luno customers

This. I've just received a Luno scam sms on my data sim number. I definitely never used that number in any interaction with Luno.

Friends account just got hacked. need assistance please.
She was using google authenticator as 2FA
Despite this got notifications that changes where being made on the account.. that money was being moved from the savings etc. She did the report suspicious behaviour and lock account.

I keep on getting Bitcoin sms, saying I need to claim my bitcoin. unfortunately for them I don't have any Bitcoin.
