Luxury vehicle splurge continues

Science and technology minister Naledi Pandor is the latest minister to splurge on two luxury vehicles.

And I thought that this sort of wastage in recessionary times would have been curtailed?

Exactly. Which is even more worrying, considering that both vehicles with the gearbox problems probably had automatic transmissions. I'd love them to show me a BMW or Merc where the transmission has failed before 150 000km. It's covered by the motorplan up to 120 000km in any case.
