Hey guys.
This is just for interest sake, but what is the purpose of that Analog satellite feed for M-net on the IS902?
I doubt it is for re-transmission, as CSN isn't included on the satellite.
It's physically impossible for me to test this, as I am located in New Zealand, and I get M-Net in clear HD already, via DStv now, but if one had to acquire an analog decoder from Europe, where the signal was shut off in 2012, and run the encrypted signal from the satellite, out through the RF out of the Analog Satellite decoder, and into the Antenna of an M-net terrestrial decoder, obviously subscription paid for would it decode the picture, the same way it would via a transmitter?
That's actually an excellent idea to keep the old remaining Mnet decoders in operation, well after the analog switch off has occurred.
