m-net only

anyone know what m-net only costs?

the dstv forums only make mention that it is more than half of the full dstv price, but that doesn't actually help me.

i have an old analogue decorder, and m-net aerial and i just wondering what m-net costs.

i have no interest in the other dstv packages, even if they might be cheaper than m-net only

On last check i think it was Roughly R300 - but i dont think Multichoice allows anolgue subscribtions anymore - but i could be wrong

The only one that includes MNet is Premium, R559 per month

They phasing out the MNET only Analogue packages so they not allowing any new subscriptions.. Afaik only subscribers with Analogue decoders can view the MNET only channel .. Even Subscribers on the Full Package can't switch to mnet only..

I still have one. . It is torture watching rugby on that when all my mates around me have BlackBerries, connected to the internet 24/7. Keeps distorting the analogue picture.

You can't. You would have to wait for DStv's DTT offering...

if you have a decoder they may let you get it, looked into it years ago but not sure anymore.

Your only option to get M-Net is on the DSTV Premium package, http://care.dstv.com/main.aspx?ID=1422

just to let you all know, you can sign up for 285 a month but they might start cancelling mnet only from november onwards - although it is not set in stone

Interesting, and you proved us all wrong! Terribly expensive for just one channel though. Suppose it's better than only SABC/eTV if you don't want to pay R559

I spoke to customer care at Multichoice yesterday, April 11, 2012. You can still buy/use analogue MNET decoders. The price for MNET via an analogue decoder is R285-00 per month.

Best plan for the people who's putting mnet only. Get your attached Neighbours and run a RF cord and you and him pay half and half (could buy a RF booster if you including more ppl).... Hahahaha just a suggestion
